Em 2005, essa data\u00a0 foi institucionalizada em homenagem aos\u00a0 doadores de sangue e tamb\u00e9m como uma forma de incentivo, para que mais pessoas fa\u00e7am doa\u00e7\u00f5es. Lembrando que o ato de doar sangue \u00e9 extremamente importante, pois tem o potencial de salvar vidas, sendo uma pr\u00e1tica solid\u00e1ria, que faz parte do exerc\u00edcio de cidadania.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;font-size: 16px\">\u00a0 \u00a0Uma \u00fanica doa\u00e7\u00e3o equivale \u00e0 retirada de 450 mL de sangue e esta \u00fanica doa\u00e7\u00e3o pode salvar at\u00e9 4 vidas. Os procedimentos para doar sangue costumam levar em torno de 40 a 60 minutos, sendo 8 a 15 minutos destinados para a extra\u00e7\u00e3o do sangue. Um per\u00edodo bem curto de tempo e pouco inc\u00f4modo, em contraste com a import\u00e2ncia da doa\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;font-size: 16px\">\u00a0 \u00a0\u00c9 importante destacar que a doa\u00e7\u00e3o de sangue n\u00e3o \u00e9 prejudicial \u00e0 sa\u00fade, o corpo humano tem cerca de 5 litros de sangue, que em contraste aos 450 ml extra\u00eddos, n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 malef\u00edcios para a sa\u00fade do doador.
